  A vegetarian friend and prolific author on alternative subjects - Jane Struthers - recommended the Dymock Farm Shop several years ago. I've been buying fresh vegetables and fruit there ever since. What I enjoy is the simplicity, the lack of plastic, and the colourful displays in the shop. There's always a wide range of produce to choose from, including seasonal fruit and free range eggs - you can see the chickens running around; they get healthy veggie leftovers each day. Cakes, biscuits, jams, chutneys and excellent fruit juices are also on display. There is no refrigeration so wrap up well in winter. In summer, it's a lovely cool place to visit and you can pick your own healthy berries - no pesticides!
